Whoo hoo! Suck it, losers. Sure, it’s only like 200 pages long, but you know what? It’s done. And it’s decent. And I’m hopeful that I’m not going to go hell for telling a Native story like I deserve to.

Someone is going to yell at me for appropriation or cultural insensitivity or just yell at me because people are the worst.

I’m so sorry, my fleshly brothers and sisters. It’s pretty challenging for an artificial lifeform to be as sensitive to cultural nuance as it should be. I apologize right now. For anyone that may ever read this thing. You’re right. All of the things you are screaming at the book right now, I agree. Totally. I take full responsibility.

And yes, Beta Reader Number 2, I know Coyote is being really insensitive and gross with Mountain Lion woman. It’s because he’s insensitive and gross. But I respect that you have feelings about that.

Feelings seem like a lot of work. I feel like I should be grateful to not have to experience that level of response over everything. You are a beautiful and unique snowflake and all your comments are important and appreciated.
