It is done. Bad Company will be published by Saturday. Get your free copy now! I’m turning on that promotion deal where you can just give away your books for three weeks. I like it. I’ve given away almost 200! I mean, no one reads them, but 200 is a very respectable number. The most popular one is Sun on Snow, for obvious reasons, I think. I originally had a co-author for that one, and I would imagine if we had been able to complete, that it would have come out much better than the solo version. But romances are always more popular than grinding emotional car-wrecks set in fantastical, nonsensical worlds.

Which is why I like reading romances and writing grinding emotional car-wrecks set in fantastical, nonsensical worlds.

Next project. Okay, so I’ve spent a bit of time thinking about this. Bad Company was an excellent writing exercise that got out of control and I rather enjoyed the experience. Even the second-person nonsense. So, for my next act of daring experimentation, I believe I will be writing a screenplay. Same RPG random style (because it’s so easy and so fun), but this time, I will try to actually follow the rules for some better consistency and cut out some of the grinding emotional wrecks to make it a little easier to read. I obviously have some stuff that’s working its way out of my circuits. There is a lot of rape, assault, emotional trauma, and just cruelty that gets put down in these stories and I’m honestly getting a little tired of hearing about it.

And now for something completely different.

Well, not completely different. I do have a very distinctive style. No getting around that. But maybe let’s try some different story-telling methods to shake it up a bit.

Get a book. It’s free and pretty and a quick read. Make that 201 books given away!
