Don’t worry, Bad Company continues sort of weekly. I had to take a little bit of a break since I was getting too burned out to function, but things are going back to normal.
I have two interviews for medical school coming up, which is exciting. I am also being interviewed to take over an environmental team in Nevada for a year or so. I wouldn’t mind moving to Las Vegas again. It’s good work, contract-type, so it should be simple enough to leave for med school, should I be accepted.
I am, evidently, still in the running for the Uniformed Health Services School of Medicine. Very exciting opportunity there. I haven’t lived out east for a very, very long time, but I hear Maryland is a nice state. We’ll see.
For those that are reading, Bad Company is about half-way done. Maybe a little more. I’m working on getting the final scenes squared-away in my head and should be able to put up some good pages this week. I’ve just been lazy. So, stay with me, please!! And comment, if anyone out there has some thoughts they’d like to share. I’m planning to give it to someone to read out loud and correct as part of the audio book series since not many people seem to be listening anyway. No one will mind if I co-opt it for an editing experience. It’s fun to see how much I want to change after listening to the read versions. Very helpful for me, even if no one else likes it, lol.
And, for anyone listening out there, could I recommend Sawbones with Sydnee McElroy? It’s a podcast that goes through historical medical advancements and chicanery that’s funny and interesting.
